04 / METHODOLOGY

What this simulation does—and does not do.

Purpose

TeakCarbon demonstrates that the manuscript’s supplied equations, coefficients, empirical observations, scenario transformations, and outputs can be reproduced without a server.

Models

Allometric, Gompertz, Richards, Logistic, and Weibull functions are ported from the validated implementation. Automatic selection is Allometric through age 26, Weibull through age 50, and Richards thereafter.

Assumptions

Predicted per-hectare stock equals predicted per-tree stock multiplied by stand density. The empirical per-hectare observations are already Mg C/ha and are retained unchanged.

Limitations

The supplied observations come from the project dataset (2,626 trees, 14 plots, seven age classes, Lewe Township, Myanmar). Model estimates do not replace field measurement, MRV, permanence analysis, or certification.
